Guitar Music

Guitar music comes in many different styles. This useful instrument is a primary part of country, rock, flamenco, jazz, and mariachi music, among other things. They are even utilized as solo classical instruments.

Generally, the instruments used for guitar music will have six strings. However, they also come in many other varieties. These include  four, seven, eight, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, and eighteen string styles. Traditionally, they were strung with animal gut. More recently, nylon steel strings have been in use.

Guitar music may be played acoustically. This means that the tone produced by the string vibration is modulated by the hollow body. It is also possible for the tone to be electronically manipulated through an amplifier. These options were first introduced in the 1930s.
